FGI’s range now includes fire-rating units using Pilkington’s industry leading fire resistant glasses.
Double glazed units are available in a choice of fire performance variations to suit different insulation and integrity ratings and satisfy the latest fire safety standards.
Fire units can be manufactured using clear, multi laminated Pilkington Pyrodur and Pilkington Pyrodur Plus which are integrity only glasses with exceptionally low levels of transmitted radiant heat, some insulation performance and impact safety. With its nominal 7mm thickness, containing one purpose designed interlayer, Pilkington Pyrodur Plus is ideal for internal fire glazing applications such as fire doors and partitions. |
